Therapeutic Philosophy:

I view the therapy room as sacred space. It's a safe room where the real you is free to be expressed and honored. It is the space where changes you seek can manifest and anchor so that you can live them in your daily life. The time you and I spend together is your safe time to explore, heal, and grow without shame, blame, or judgment.   Because I appreciate the unique person you are, I work to provide psychotherapy in ways that are most natural for you. I work through a holistic lens which takes into account various psychological and psychospiritual schools of thought. The work we will do together will be focused on your goals and needs while remaining grounded in sound psychological practices.  My formal professional training includes: Transpersonal, Existential-Humanistic, Relational, CBT, and Hypnotherapy. I am also informed by years of practicing meditation and mindfulness and the energetic practices of Reiki, Chi Gong, and Kundalini meditation.  I continue to update my skills by attending conferences, lectures, trainings, and membership in professional psychological associations. Lastly, please know that I am committed to providing culturally sensitive care to clients regardless of ethnicity, color, or sexual orientation. Our diversity makes the world a beautiful place to be

Biographical Information:

I’m a native Californian that has lived, traveled all over the state and a fair bit of the world. I’m a father to grown adults, including one with special needs, and a beneficiary of the joys and struggles involved in sustaining a long term marriage. I have experienced healthy and toxic employment situations and know how they can affect us and our relationships. In the end, I know that life is an exhilarating journey, and by experience, I know that the worst times are always the times we grow the most.

Working through our existential fears and challenges leads to true freedom. Freedom to choose our beliefs and act in congruence with them. Freedom from suffering. Freedom to show up just as we are in our relationships. Freedom to feel authentic, joyful, and to laugh again.
